In 2006 the Kiwanis Club and
Foundation of Tierrasanta established a
continuing  annual scholarship to be
awarded to a Serra High School
graduating senior who excels in
athletics, academics, and leadership.  
The 2007 award was $1000.

Special Advisors
Established in 1997 as part of Kiwanis International to serve the
Community of Tierrasanta and the surrounding area as the charitable
arm of the Kiwanis Club of Tierrasanta, chartered in 1976, the purpose
and mission of the Foundation are: to assist needy persons, especially
young people; to assist youth in attaining academic, athletic and
vocational excellence; to aid disabled persons in regaining happy,
useful lives; and to provide scholarships to local school students.
Donations
The Kiwanis Foundation of Tierrasanta is a recognized charitable
corporation under the laws of the State of California and IRS Section
501(c) (3) and all donations to the foundation are fully tax deductible.
